John deere 450 dozer

Have a John Deere 450 dozer that was having
issues with the left side steering clutch
so I decided to adjust them according to
what the book said and after doing so I
still had no hydraulic assist so the pole
on the Turning clutch is about 34 lb to get
to turn in either direction but they were
both working manually I was pushing a large
tree and the right side Drive stopped and
anytime I'm even going up a slight Hill or
pushing anything it turns to the right as
if the right tracks just dragging not
powered. Any thoughts on what the problem
would be.

(reply to post at 15:40:36 06/07/17) [I would go back through the adjustment routine again. When mine did the same thing it was because of an adjustment issue that I'd misinterpreted. These adjustments don't affect the hydraulic assist. It is a separate system on mine. I recommend tying string to the 9/16 wrenches when making adjustments of steering clutches and brakes. Those wrenches are difficult to retrieve when they drop in housing. /quote]
