TD15C starter removal

About a 10 minute job at most and easy way take an old leather belt and go around it before you remove the bolts use it to lift it out. Also take the bottom and inner bolt first . Leave the ease one there on top last.

I can not get to the bottom two bolts. I have not even found a way to get my fingers on either of them. I took the belly pan off and still no luck. There is crossbar that seems to be in my way. I took the four bolt out that hold the end cap on, I couldn't see how that way helping, since I can't get to the other four on the back to pull the housing off.

Don't try to strip the starter on the machine,it's so long since I worked on one of those I can't remember how hard or easy it was to remove the unit, have you tried a socket with a long extension.if you are still having trouble go to the IH site Red Power and you can get some advise there.

Can you open you e-mail or direct e mail me a phone number. I need to talk to you just something not right. Getting that starter off is something any mechanic can do. Take an extension and socket, it may have 12 point bolts but still easy. Send me a phone number lets talk.

SO LET US KNOW DID YOU FIGURE IT OUT? man we are here to help you, let us know what is going on.

Sorry I never got back on here. I did get the starter off, turned out I didn't have enough of the dirt and grease out of the way to get to it before. Thanks for Yals help.
