Helping a neighbor bring a cat 22 online. Running
like a champ today. After taking it out for a spin for
10-15 min, we noticed the top cast iron block was
hot to the touch. Sides of the radiator were cool. I
could here the radiator water boiling inside the block
after it was turned off. We replaced the coolant
during fix up with top line 50/50 mix from JD dealer.
My gut tells me a thermostat or water pump issue.
Crazy thing is that the temp gauge barely reads into
the green line. Any suggestions? Thank you for
