310G Clutch Replacement - Some pictures

Hi all, so what happens when you let your father-in-law play with your toys? Well, in my "Case," he got my 310g Dozer stuck and broke it pretty good. Jumped the track, broke the idler bracket (was hanging on by a thread anyway) bent the right side lift cylinder and smoked the clutch trying to get it out. I may have help in the smoking of the clutch in using the PTO winch to try and extricate it from its precarious position.

Was able to finally get it unstuck after I got the idler bracket all fixed up and track back on. Was able to move it to the shop and get new lift cylinders on it. Now I need to work on the clutch. Well I think its the clutch as it wont stall when I let the clutch out with the blade down (wont push any dirt) and wont hardly move up even the smallest of inclines with out giving it some gas and staying off either brake. Odd though as it will sometimes feel just fine for few hundred feet then its off again. Also feels like its partially binding up as it will move forward about 20 feet then stop moving except for a small amount, then starts going again only to repeat this driving behavior. This is on level ground. Down hill, no problem. I was able to get it back up in front of the shop on level ground but had to go in reverse to get it up the hill. Anyone have any other thoughts what it might be besides the clutch?

Really looking for any advice. I have the manual and it doesn't look overly complicated. Looks like parts are still available. Since I have no idea what all is worn, should I go a head and do both the pressure plate, clutch disk and throw out bearing all at once? Common sense in me says I should. Also I probably should have the flywheel surfaced as well, yes?

Thank you in advance for any and all help you can provide.

Here are a few photos of my Case 310G

Try the easy things first, see what the adjustment is like, usually if the clutch has been slipped and heated the pedal tightens up,if it did let the adjustment off till its got a couple of inches play, that done and it's still slipping look down through the floor plates and watch the drive shaft if its not spinning when trying to push the clutch is toast,if it is spinning bad news something stripped some teeth or? it will be seek and find what's wrong.

Looks like it is the clutch. I can see the drive shaft "stop" spinning when the dozer does not move with the clutch let out.

Looks like the clutch,if my memory is correct it is possible to change the clutch from underneath the tractor, remove the drive shaft and the support plate carrying the pilot shaft, remove the plate under the housing and undo the clutch,it should come down through the opening.
