lOADER BUCKET LIFT CYLINDERS

I replaced my Case 450 crawler loader bucket with a Case 455 4 in 1 bucket. Really a great bucket, and can do a lot of work with it I never could do with a regular bucket. The new 4 in 1 bucket is 1.25 yards and a LOT heavier than the old 7/8 yard bucket. I haven't done any loading with the new bucket so I don't know how it will perform picking up a full load of gravel or dirt or ???? So I was thinking, if I need to increase the size of the lift hydraulic rams does any one think the existing hyd. pump will be big enough to do the job? Or if I need to get a larger hyd. pump, maybe the hyd. pump from a 455 case, and will it hook up to the 450 engine to do the job. thanks.....Phil

Checking the parts catalog the pump and cylinders are the same for the 4 in 1 as the standard bucket so you should be OK.

Is that for the 455 case? That would be really great, because you can sure tell the difference between the std. 7/8 yd. bucket and the 4in1 that 4in1 is real heavy duty quality. Just as another question, what do you think my old 7/8 yd. bucket is worth? I replaced the cutting edge and put replaceable teeth on it. I would say they are about 65%. thanks for the reply. Phil
