Great sight by the way. Ive picked up a lot of info from here. Thanks for all the help
Went out to start our 977L dozer after 5 years. Yeah I know. Shouldn't have left it sitting for so long. Ran great when parked.
Anyways, I think 4 of the plungers are stuck in the injection pump. finally got it to run long enough to get 2 working. idles on its own. When I crack the other 4 injection lines I just get fuel pouring out. The two working injectors I get timed fuel spray and pressure. Also kills the motor. I dumped the fuel filter and filled with marvels mystery oil. And ran It up to the plungers. This is as far as ive got. Has anyone had any luck on unsticking these things? If I read correctly I can take the side plate off and inspect. Just giving the oil a few days to do its magic I hope and run it some more. And I might have a totally different issue. Any thoughts are most appreciated.
