Case backhoe bucket pin sizes

Case 580 super K. Went to switch buckets from 24 to 12 for the first time yesterday and pins didn't fit the smaller bucket. Spacing was correct.

Is this bucket for another 580 series or are different pins/bushings required.

The buckets for the older machines differ up to the E series,your K should have a claw to aid fitting the bucket,the hangers for the bucket from say a D had to have a piece cut from between the two pin holes to allow the claw type to fit,look at the hangers of the older bucket,if it has bushes knock one out and see if the K pin fits,if it does knock the other bush out and that is the stick end sorted,if the tilt bosses have bushes do the same you may get lucky,see in the drawing where the piece has to be cut out marked in red.
