Forum,
Looked at the D4 Cat yesterday. Was much bigger than expected compared to my HD3 Allis. Looked in good condition. Owner said a lot of things had been done to it, overhaul, tracks tightened, mag overhaul and such. Serial number was 7J1664. May this have been a '52 vintage machine? On one hydraulic arm 6 52 was cast. Asking price $3500. Not sure of value. Told owner to repair belt drive on pony (which turned easily-6 volt electric starter} and work on steering clutches. This post is a repeat of my last post late last night. Any comments or thoughts are welcome.
