1998 D3C Cat Tracks To The Left

My work has a 1998 D3C Caterpillar Series 3. Serial # 4KS00512.

When attempting to drive straight forward the cat wants to track to the left. In high travel speed the problem is magnified. In order to go straight, you have to steer to the right in order to make up for the pull to the left. This cat has a joystick control on the left side of the cab, operated by the left hand to operate speed and direction.

Is there something out of adjustment? What test would you recommend to perform to diagnose the problem.

Thank you,
Andrew

Is it a gear drive or hydrostatic? If the latter, it sounds like it's a matter of adjusting the stroke on one of the drive
pumps.

It is a hydrostatic drive. Any info on how to make that adjustment would be great. I do not have a caterpillar repair/shop manual for this unit.
