JD 450 hydraulic capacity - brush cutter

Looking at a 450 with a 6 way blade / backhoe. Would it be possible to plumb in enough flow to operate a brush cutter. I'm pretty sure I could figure out how to mount it to the blade. Just not sue on the Hyd cap. Thanks for any help. Jim

Probably not a very big one, they weren't made to run anything other than the blade cylinders really which don't take much volume. Also system isn't really setup to cool the oil for continuous operation like that.

Thanks for the info, did they have a bigger pump when they put the backhoe on them. Would it be possible to add an auxiliary pump to power a cutter or would that really be a huge project.

450 came with either a 13 GPM pump or an optional 23 GPM pump. Both Cessna gear pumps.
