I had to recently slide the cab forward to remove the
blown head; now that head's rebuilt and put back in,
I need to slide the cab back into place. The cab isn't
completely removed; its only slid forward to the
steering bars; is there a way that one person can
slide the cab back into place and bolt it down with a
come-along? I don't have a hoist and I don't have
another machine to lift the cab to set it into place. I
tried using the loader arms with the come-along but
the cab slides forward and not back toward the
engine like I need it to. Please tell me and how
these cabs are usually put back into place.
