Hanomag dozer

Anybody familiar with these it doesn't steer.

Try posting the model and any other details you may have esp the serial #.

Typically a dozer has 2 or 3 clutches and no differential. The first clutch would be for the transmission if it is has a gearbox so it disconnects the engine so you can shift. The other 2 are to disconnect the rear end from one track or the other. If these clutches stick the dozer only goes straight. If it turns but slowly and you want a quick turn, then the steering brakes are worn and need adjustment or replacement.
 
Don't know anything about them but the 3 years I was in Germany I saw quite a few of them in the Mannheim area.
 
My experience is it is German made. High quality, but kind of hard to find parts for here. Very common in Europe. I have fixed a few Hanomag units. Never keep. Al
 
Hanomag made Crawlers for Massey Ferguson 600 and 700 but they were all Hanomag other then the name plate Denver east was a big Hanomag dealer in the US.some machines had Cat undercarriage parts
