Case 350 fuel pressure

Windancer

Well, I'm putting up my Case 350 dozer for the winter. Fuel distribution unit leaks
so I put drip pan underneath. To keep from having to check (empty) drip pan over winter,
I thought about closing the shut-off valve underneath the fuel tank. Then I wondered if
doing so would cause a lose of line pressure and a problem restarting in the spring (like
if a tank were to run dry and have to bleed line). Then I thought about leaving the engine
stop cable/knob out like as when the engine is stopped. My goal is to stop the drip and still
be able to start it normally without any problems next spring. And advice out there?

If the injection pump is leaking from the throttle shaft and or shut off lever, you can get replace those orings by removing the top cover , then pull the clip up and off that holds the 2 shafts together and in place, then slide out shafts one at a time,to get to orings..then replace top cover seal too, there's a guy on eBay that sells the kit for $12.00
