New Holland Stiff Foot Pedal

I've got two LS190's with stiff foot pedals. One is the tilt, the other is the main boom. I'm familiar with the pedal bushings getting loaded with rust and grit and causing the same issue. Those aren't the issue now, it is in the valve somehow. They're so stiff that the pedal just stays engaged.

Any idea what this could be?

Dirt accumulation around the valve rusts the spools,or dries out the seals. Sometimes you can clean the spools and lube them while on the machine. If that won't work you will have to remove and disassemble the valve clean everything and replace the seals. Hopefully the spools aren't badly rusted or pitted in which case a reman valve or full rebuild with new spools will be required. Had to replace the valve assembly on my 185 after using to push snow and the salt rusted the valve solid after sitting a couple of months even though I thought I had it washed out.
