hydro fluid in fuel

Have a 310 jd backhoe was running great till, one of the people that worked for me fill the fuel tank with hydraulic oil ran for a little while now doesn't start, do you guys think that it may have busted the injector pump. Thanks

Drain the tank, change filters, and take the two screw timing cover off the pump side. With fresh fuel in the tank bleed the whole system, and see if the pump timing plate turns inside when engine is turned over. If it does drive shaft is not broken, and head/rotor is still turning. Take loose all injector line nuts, and see if the pump will deliver to all injectors. Hopefully it will, but if it never does the pump may need repair.
