Looks like the time of just sitting, the D7 started puking grease on one track and lost track tension. I am in a bind for it and I seem to be doing more fixing than work lately.

Anyone know how these come apart? I seem to remember the cylinder would come out without breaking the track, pulling idler, etc?

In any case, what are the chances I could just keep pumping it up so I can just get my 8hrs or work done with it? I have not yet tried to refill the cylinder but it has just been sitting for a long time and was tight back then.

not familiar with that track tensioner cylinder--my 941b I changed the seals without taking the track off. You could pull the track tight and place some supports/blocking behind the idler yoke to hold it out--

Hook a chain to the idler and pull to tension the track.
Cut a block of wood to put behind the idler to hold the tension, wire it in and go, until you can fix it right.

Make sure were he is leaking ,if he is leaking on the spring maybe the piston seal in cilynder are bad or the piston id going to far and leak becase the track are worn but if he is leaking betwen the piston and front rod the 2 ring seal are bad
