Have a allis hd6g coming up on auction it's a crawler loader smooth edge bucket looks like a neat strait all original machine looks pretty clean nothing really looks to leak, was curious what it's worth, what would be the weak points of this machine to look at and also could someone please explain what all the controls do thanks

You have to check the chaines ,idlers, sprockets and stering cluchs ,the long lever on left side is for the master cluch and the 2 center lever are for the stering cluch,in the dasch you have the fuel trottle and in dasch left side lever is for the startor

Ok thank you I wanted to go start it and run it a little before auction on Tuesday any idea on weight of this haven't been able to find much info with the loader on it says bare tractor weighs around 16000????

Just went and looked at it again front idlers on both side has some wear says 3700 hrs on factory hour meter whether it still works I'm not sure you can tell it was running from marks on cylinders new solinoid on starter and few other things give it away but I could not get it to turn over unless battery's are dead had a push button and a switch u turn quarter turn take it on off but did nothing where are battery's located on it didn't spend long enough looking

The weigh could 16000lbs and this machines is 24volts battry and ckeck the level oil on dipstick before starting and antifreeze in radiator

Battery's are in a box on the left side of the seat. All of mine had a key switch built into the side of the battery box. Steering clutches are dry, the later ones had a wet main clutch. Most parts are avialiable yet. Minn Parr is a good source. I believe the loader and tractor weigh more like 22000 lbs. Some had a lever for a throttle, some had a push pull knob for a throttle.
