1000 case is the same trans that is in the 800 & 1150 .

I have several 1000's , very tough tough trans. Loader

I have I bought in winter of 67,68 and have been in the

trans once ,reason is the teeth broke off on one of the

clutch discs. Worked on the finals several times, seals

and bearings.

It is an 8 clutch trans with 4 controlling each track

independently of the other , they are an absolute

pleasure to run.

George I have a fellow hunting a continental h260 diesel engine. Is that what the 1000 case dozer ran. If so do you have any engine parts?

The Case 1000 uses a continental " JD 382" 4 Cyl.
Diesel engine which is larger than the H 260.

Not sure how many if any parts interchange with the H260.

George will know.

JM,

Very little interchanges, 800 & 1000 case use the same

water pump which is totally different from MF tractors.

Need to look to see if some of the cam bearings swap.

I made cam brgs for 1000 from other cont'ls , used G series

rear , 2 f ser center for center with modifications .Have

to look to see what I used for front. Injector nozzles

are same ( 12 SD 12). i have part of an H model out back,

and I think with some imagination I can make 188 case mains

work , winter project.

For the 382 I bored and sleeved the sleeves because years

back there were no new ones , might have to do that for H

series.

Send me an email with # and I'll call you.
