Just wondering if you guys could give some information about a d21-6 komatsu dozer, needing one to clean up around edge of fields and keep dirt roads up on the farm nothing real big can rent a large dozer for clearing and moving dirt, what is the good the bad and the ugly on them checked one out few days ago, new sprockets rollers idlers and chain owner went back with old grousers they were in good shape, started quick smoke clean within seconds seems to steer good and seems very tight, asking 9k for it. Thanks

They really aren't a bad little dozer for their size. I have put many sets of tracks on them, and on that particular dozer, the sprockets are quite a costly deal do to due to the labor incurred. Whether you press the entire sprocket with hub off, or cut the rim off and weld just a new rim on, that can get pretty pricey if a dealer does it. Of the many that went through the dealer I worked at, I can only think of a couple that had any major issues. Not a powerhouse, but if you use it as you say, to maintain farm roads and push out some brush, it should do the job. I have seen a few of the wide track ones, the 21P's that would crack the blade around where the C frame attaches near the blade angle cylinder mounts. But, since that one is an A, narrow model, it should be just fine.
