Saw an older Bobcat skid steer in above average condition sell for $3k. It was powered by a gasoline engine. Hours unknown. My guess is it was 20 or so years old. It was made when Clark still owned Bobcat. Was $3k a good buy? It was on an estate auction most everything was worn out.

Would have to know the model. Area will make some difference too.

A lot of variables...like saying I saw an old Chevy what's it worth, age, model, etc make a huge difference

Irregardless of who built it and model three skid feature separate the men from the boys price wise.
A-Diesel engine
B-Universal quick attach plate
C- Third valve and remotes.
That is unless your talking about antiques with belt drive and variable sheaves, YUK. Assuming that is not the case if
Subtract either A-B- or C and the value drops a lot
Subtract a combination of two and the value tanks
Subtract all 3 and you have a very cheap machine,, or should be.
Bobcat brand brings a premium but on older small machine its hardly enough to mention. Taking a wild guess on model and condition it brought 2x what it should have brought.

with out a model number no one will know that answer. The model 610 would probably be in that price range. Skid loader that are in decent shape due demand some money. without driving it its hard to tell the condition of it.

I sold my last on two months ago for 650.00. It was a V4 wisc, with no bucket. the one before that was an 873 Diesel in great shape for 18,5000. somewhere between those

I've got a 610 that's above average shape, the engine was totally rebuilt a few years ago. Everything else works good I'd love to get $3000 for it, just taking up space in the shed.

older skid steer work the same as newer ones for homeowners and most farmers. without the cost of a brand new machine.
moving snow gravel dirt etc. Unless you have a huge need to change buckets, forks etc. quick attach is nice but not
necessary. biggest thing is how the engine runs. no smoke and oil leaking piece of junk. hydraulic work and are not weak.
