[color=blue:e9de4002b0][/color:e9de4002b0] Hi, Im trying to locate the proper manuals for my particular machine. Any help? whats the difference between a 10K and 90B? any search i do with my full serial number returns no results

There are probably other places with the manual, but the link below will take you to one of them that has the manual in paper, or digital form. They aren't cheap, but good luck finding any manual on the cheap now days. Heck, I've priced some at over $1000, so those listed for your machine are a steal.....

Thanks Wayne, I've been to this site and just find it over priced as compared with other Prices on manuals online. It was over 500 bucks just for the CD's and printed copy of the operators manual

These other venders, although much cheaper, don't seem to list my machine. Do you know the difference between a 90B and a 10K? Lots of manuals for a 10k at a fraction of the price.

I couldn't tell you the differences beyond saying they are usually minor but, unfortunately can be major. For someone what works on this kind of stuff all the time it's often not be a big deal, but for a man wanting them for his own use, who doesn't work on them all the time, the wrong book can point you in the wrong direction and you wouldn't know it.

Your best bet if your adverse to the cost would be to try Ebay. I hate pointing people there as screwed up as that place has gotten, but it's often the only way to find a used manual at a decent price. Even then, good luck, as they often want new prices for a used manual.

In the end you have to look at it like this. For someone like me to come out, it's going to cost you around $70 plus an hour, plus mileage. Depending on what you need done, you can buy the manual, and do it yourself for less than it would cost to have me come out for a day. In other words, $500 for a manual sounds like a lot of money, fit in the end it's a steal if it allows you to do some of the simple testing, etc on your own......

Like I tell others, reading a book, hooking up a guage, and checking pressures, etc, etc to find a problem isn't exactly rocket science. Worst case, you give the mechanic that comes out a good place to start looking and save yourself some labor time.

Good luck.

D6C 10K is a powershift transmission made in USA starting out @ 125 hp and upping to 140 hp.
90B is a direct drive transmission made in Japan @ 120 hp according to my Toughquip book.

Thanks for your imput, I ended up pulling the trigger on a parts manual from Manuals.us. But they didnt have the service manunal. Got it for 50 bucks CND. Ill keep poking around but in the end ill probably cave and buy the overpriced manual. Better to have it then not
