Finally going to have to do something about the engine. Wish I could just find a decent running one to drop in but I doubt there are many Leyland diesel 4/98 engines floating around North America. Guess I'm looking at an in frame. Don't use it enough to justify replacing it. 100-200 hours a year.

You can do an in frame on that machine,pan and head come off without too much hassle,the oil pump has balance shafts that need to go back in the right place,an offset socket is required to undo the front bearing cap,weld an old socket to the side of one that fits the bearing cap bolts and that will do the trick to loosen and re-torque them,secure the loader frame fully up before you start.
