Model 32 Loader frame only on a Case 530 Construction King

My old 64 Case 530 CK loader tractor has the model 32 loader and a big counterweight on the back but I do not know if it originally also had a backhoe.

I see in the 32 service manual only the right side of the loader frame gets filled with hydraulic fluid IF the unit is a loader and both sides if it has a hoe. several gallon difference. Mine has the hydraulic tube running from the bottom of the left loader frame (tank) as well as the right.

Does the hydraulic fluid still flow into both....just less or should the left side not be involved at all with only a loader? Seems to me the tube either indicates it had a hoe at one point or I am missing how the fluid level works (probable!) and I will always be overfilling..... Once I fill only the right side with the correct amount up to the fill level, it seems the running of the unit would transfer fluid to the left tank as well to equalize level because of the tube and the right side would indicate low?

Should the left side not have the tube running to it? I sure appreciate any experienced info. My 69 580 CK has the hoe and loader so it is different and I can't use it to reference.
Thank You

Okay I have learned something today! The loader tractor was set up for a hoe and not properly re-plumbed as the left
frame is not supposed to be used. I have to pull the crossover tube, plug the left side bottom and eliminate a front
tee and just use a single line. I will have to do some recon and measuring, then get a couple hydraulic hoses made to
re-plumb for only the loader operation.

The previous owner(s) just left it plumbed for both. Although I am not sure what the extra several gallons of
hydraulic fluid in the system do over time, I am inclined to believe it is not beneficial to the old parts.

I dug through my old 69 TLB (580CK) manual and found a hydraulic diagram that covers my model 32 loader as well. Live
and learn.

If you don't have a problem with hyd. fluid overflowing any where I'm sure the crossover flow works just fine with the pump still using oil from the whole system even though it only has the front end loader on it right now. Bigger oil capacity is actually better for cooling and it takes longer to get contaminated from regular wear and tear. If it were my machine I would leave it be the way it is.

Thanks for your reply and it makes sense........ What created this inquiry for me was the development of a small leak c
along a poor weld done to repair the right side hydraulic tank near the top crossover pipe above the gas tank. The
crack is along the circumference of the round crossover going into the right side loader tank. Seemed a bit odd to me
that the hydraulic fluid would seep from the small crack after I "added fluid to bring it full". Turns out I was
actually overfilling the system since I do not have the backhoe and pushing the extra fluid out.

I located another
model 32 loader frame and will be swapping them out and wanted to plumb it correctly for just the loader.
