Hough 80b

I'm looking at a hough h80b loader and was wondering what to look for. Are they a good loader and are parts available for them? Thank you!

Is your Hough a straight frame rear steer machine? I guess it doesn't matter either way but they are tough old machines. Parts are not available unless you go the salvage route or use will fit parts. I had an old Michigan 75a and now a Hough 60 articulate frame loader. When I needed parts I was always able to come up with something suitable. The engines usually will cross with another common machine. Hoses are universal at a good hydraulic shop. As long as the transmission is strong engine runs decent and the tires are ok you should get many more years unless you are running a daily gravel pit operation.
