Hi Everyone
I have a problem with my John Deere 410 backhoe that I bought and it?s not moving forwards but will move in reverse? the backhoe and loaders hydraulics seem to be quick and working good from what I can tell. Here is what I have do to try and fix this problem? I tested the hydraulic pressure in ports # 29 & 31 in the reverser clutch valve assembly and reverse was 100 psi. & forward was about 25 psi. and I did check the pins in the leakage going to the reverser clutch valve and it was ok so I took off the reverser clutch control valve assembly and took it apart cleaned it and there was no valves stuck or sticking so I put it back together with new seals and I pulled the sump screen out and it was mostly clean so I ended up splitting the backhoe because I?m thinking it?s the forward clutch pack now. I found out that a c-clip was broke on the forward clutch drum and the clutch disk & plates were warped and burnt up and part of the gear was stripped from the clutch disks so I replaced all that and put new seals in the forward clutch. The reverse clutch disk and plates look new so I didn?t change them? Checked the dry clutch and it looked good so I put everything back together and changed the 2 hydraulic filters and put new john Deere hydraulic fluid back in. I started it up and put it in reverse and the backhoe moved in reverse but it still won?t go forwards so I checked the pressure in the reverser clutch valve again and reverse was 100 psi. And forward was 100 psi they should be about 165 psi. So now I?m not sure what to try or look for I thought maybe after fixing all that it would be good to go. Not in my case.
Any help or advice here would be greatly appreciated on what you may think it is or why I still have only 100 psi pressure or why it won?t go forward I?m wondering if it could be something back behind the transmission in the rear end but that still won?t justify for the low psi in the clutch control valve. I?m stuck here guys? I need some great advice here now. Thanks in advance
