Started having a couple problems with our 550. Acts like the fuel filters plugged then runs good then dies out. Fuel flow is good from the tank and have changed filters and lift pump doesn't seem to work very well. We have a 580 Super M and went out and cracked the bleed screw and pump it a couple times and fuel pumps out. My question is once engine is running does it need the lift pump? The 550 has been trouble free for years just has a few issues. Any one have any experience tightening up the blade? We had a track adjuster that he had replaced seals in a couple years ago that leaked again so he ordered a new assembly last year. I got the old one off and the new ones different. He gets on the phone with the parts guy he says yep that's the right part. I get home and google Case 550 track adjuster and its the wrong one. Its for a rubber tracked 550G! Fixing a couple broken studs on the final drive while in the garage. Thanks, Greg
