580 SK Will not crank

As posted I have a 580 SK that will not crank. The battery is hot and I can short the starter and it cranks just fine. I assumed the neutral start switch was bad so without checking anything I replaced it. To my surprise it didn't fix anything. I have checked under the unit and no connectors appear to be unplugged or wires rubbed into. It went from cranking perfect to nothing. It was running in a yard with no underbrush or debris to hang something when this happened.
Lastly, I can hear what seams like a relay clicking under the dash when the switch is turned to the start position. I have not checked anything else yet except for the switch, which is good. Some help on what to check next or a wiring schematic for this unit would be great.

This is all I know right now. Any help would be appreciated.

There are two relays underneath the flap where you fill it with fuel see the relays are tight and all the fuses.

Correction. Relays were not the problem. Not sure why messing with the relay's before made it crank, maybe loose connection, but now both relays don't work. I got two more and put in it, but after only an hour or so it would not crank again. Would someone have a schematic of the starting and charging circuit they could send me so I could troubleshoot this? Or more advice to where I should look next. I can still short the starter and it cranks as it should. Of course, this takes all other components out of the picture.

I have a file host site, OneDrive, but I am unaware of how to do the rest of what you are talking about. I think I could figure out how to post the manual if I had it and give you access, but I'm not sure how to go the other way. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Give me a little bit to research it and I will post back.

I have a One drive account and a Dropbox account. Is it possible to use either one of these? A few pointers or a link to "How to do this" would be much appreciated. I really need to get this thing fixed. Afraid someone is going to get run over shorting the starter. Thanks.

AJ Thanks so much for the help. It took some doing but I finally got it to download and I have printed the out the pages I need. I will try to give it some attention this weekend and post back with my results. Thanks again for your help.

Good that gives a fairly good details of the circuit, probably something simple like a bad connection,go along the loom under the floor boards about where you leave your right foot, there is a multi-plug along there that might a tweak, glad you were able to get the manual, anyone else thats wants a copy you are welcome to download it.

I just wanted to post back with what I found wrong with my backhoe. I followed the troubleshooting guide which led me back to the relay that AJ suggested awhile back. When I checked the relay the first time I wiggled the wires going to it and even tugged on them gently. I know that there is only a small clip on the terminal that holds it in the plastic mold so I didn't get to rough with it. After a closer look this weekend the red 12 ga wire with 12 volts had broken inside the relay holder (actually, the terminal itself broke). I put a new terminal on the wire, but without the clip on the back side it wouldn't stay in the holder. No problem. Luckily it was the terminal to the outside of the holder. I used my die grinder to cut away the plastic on the relay holder so I could push the terminal on the relay with a pair of needle nose. I ran it quite a bit this weekend with no problems.
I would just like to say to AJ, Thank you very much for the manual. It makes troubleshooting so much easier.
