Hello,
I am hoping someone on here can help me out of a situation. Bought a Case 310E dozer with a 188 diesel. Engine has a spun rod. Casting number on rod is G11723. I found a document that shows at least three different rods were made for this engine. My rod has a 1.30" at piston pin end and a .750" beam. The other rods have a wider beam. If anyone has a lead for a good used one I would appreciate it. I have found several of the G11847, but it has a rod beam width of .900" and I am not sure what kind of stress or vibration issue that would put on the engine with the others being the G11723 rods with the .750" beam
