Is it cold in the building ? Maybe it has water in it that is frozen ? Since it rolled into the building this seems like the most likely thing I can think of.
 
No, the shop is uninsulated but often heated with a wood stove to be warm enough to melt ice in buckets of water. The tractor is not in or near any roof leak. Thanks for the idea, though. Leo
