Looking for a few parts and a service /parts manual. Also would like any info anyone has on this loader. Just bought it, seems to run fairly well, everything seems to work. Most important part I need is a tierod end for the end of the hydraulic steering cylinder. Supposedly have an IH part number,394765R91, but it doesn't seem to be availabe anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help.

I had an old rear wheel steer Michigan 75A that I need tie rod ends for. I had to get creative for several parts while I had it. One end of the tie rod was intact just badly worn I poured babit around it to recreate the joint. The other end I used a cat 1 weld on heim joint with a bolt. Both joints served the machine well for the rest of its life.

I would watch ebay for manuals.

If you know a helpful parts man at Napa or the like, they are able to look up tie-rod ends by taper and thread size...I had that done. It may not be 100% identical but likely usable. In a bind I have welded a heavy duty washer in place in order to retain the ball in place but you have to make sure there is enough pivot to accommodate the movements required...this fix lasts for years if you're not after perfection. If the tie-rod end is really big you could also check at parts for big trucks. So much has to do with the individual at the counter. I have tried buying truck parts for a truck and the guy refuses any help unless I quote the serial # of the truck

Yes, I checked with the big truck supplier, looked thru the book by size specs,3 different suppliers, nothing usable. I like the idea of filling with babbit, was trying to think how jb weld would work, but babbit is a better idea. Thank you.

If I remember correctly I wrapped the ball with wax paper and filled it up wth Babbitt. Somehow I put the cap back on and drilled for a grease zerk. The other end the hole would not hold the taper so I used the hiem joint.
