Help with old Gresen CP control valve

Ive got an old Thomas skid steer circa 1970 and I'm having problems with the lift arms dropping suddenly. It won't happen if I press the pedal slightly but if I go too far it drops like a rock. I'm thinking its the control valve but not sure what part specifically. Anyone have an opinion whether new seal kit for that section would solve this or could it be the check plug? I took both check plugs out and the poppets looks ok but the bodies do have some wear so it might be catching on the body? Or do the spools themselves wear out?? This spool has a float section for grading. Anyone with any knowledge here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

O. K. You have casting numbers? When I did Gresen classes 15 years ago parts for those were hard to find. You have e-mail I have some pointers. J.

Yes casting numbers for the sections are 1814, inlet 1815, outlet 1816 and looks like mid inlet section is 1886. Pointers would be good. Email is [email protected]. Thanks
