just wondering in the near future i would like to add a pto to my 580ck loader what all it will
take to make it happen it has a rockford shuttle tranny man this tractor is a beast i love it
finally got it together and been doing alot of work with it i see alot of potential with this
tractor i am gonna have to rebuild the tilt cylinders and get either a new seal for the three
point cylinder or replace the housing for it was froze up with rust i took it apart and cleaned
it up and run a cylinder hone in it but has some pits in the cylinder walls sorry for babbling on
but man i love this tractor all the troubleof going through it and cleaning all the internalls
was worth it it only took me about 2 months and no did not paint it i kinda wish i did now but
any ways it does what i want it to do for the most part the only thing i do not have as far as
manuals is for the loader oh well i may have to invest in that later you guys are awsome on here
thanks for all the help

Unless you find a donor unit with the same trans option to remove the correct items you need to have its not going to happen,, yours more than likely will have a solid shaft where you need a hollow one in the trans/shuttle area to power the pto,, industrial units are not a real easy change over
cnt

i remember when i took off the plate to clean the rear end out and while i had the three point cylinder off i was looking at the back of the shuttle clutch it had a freeze plug in the back of the shuttle out put if you will but with out taking the plug out i have no clue as to it being hollow shaft or not

if it has the hollow shaft that helps, but you will still have to install the seals to keep the oils from migrating if you take out the frost plug,,,

i see there is a front seal and rear seal that i see looking at the parts manual so yea that would be a big process to install including splitting tractor again i think it is ok the way it is i will just have to use my vac-14 to do all of the pto work wich is fine with me thank you for pointing that out
