magneto on D2

Know someone who is looking for a distributor cap for a D2. he has a Wico but can't read the type number.

Looking on the internet I think he could have a XH-1907 Does this sound right?

What would be the part number for the cap?

Sorry you haven't given enough information to be able to help. Google, acmoc.org, that's the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club, they will be able to help you if you know the serial number of the machine. Their should be a tag on the top left rear of the machine with that information.

The WICO D2 magneto cap should be 5s9109 (fxg-2002e-2)

The Wico part number for the cap on a XH2836S magneto for the D2 is X16538
The Wico part number for the cap on a XH1907 magneto for the D2 is X5776
