977h problem

We have a 977h cat that hasn't been ran in several years, it had a bad bearing in range trans,we fixed that and now the steering clutchs won't work, tried adding oil but doesn't help, spits air out bleeder any help would be appreciated

That sounds like the steering pump has lost its prime,try getting some oil into the pump with a squirt can through pressure check/bleed nipple on the pump,if no joy see that the suction strainer is not blocked.
