CAT D6C Dozeer

I have a Cat D6C 10K Dozer s/n 11483 Engine 3306 Dozer never had a problem. It would always start right up. It had only been two weeks ago that I had parked it an now it won't start. I have change fuel, fuel filter, I bled line at injectors but, it still won't start. It will reacts to esther. Does anyone have any ideas?

What do you mean it will react with ether,will it start,if it starts with ether you need to check that the glow plugs are working,I would try and avoid using ether,the other thing that could be causing no start is the rack sticking in the stop position.

I have had several older D7s , D7E and D7 17As and the main fuel line from the fuel tank to the pump would clog up over time . I drained the fuel tank , took the fuel line loose at the tank and the pump and used air to clean out the line , a lot of black crud came out of the line, I don't know if this is the problem with your D6C but maybe you should check your flow to the pump first .

Have you got your D6C repaired , what was the problem ?

mr_fxitman , would be nice to tell us what was wrong with your D6C , this is how some of us learn how or look for the same problem you have or had . Can you let un know if you have found your problem ?
