Checked through past posts and couldn't find exactly what I needed to find, sooooo, I would appreciate some input
from you guys!
Son's 410 backhoe was working fine, after warming it uo, I did some light hoe work grubbing out some small tree
stumps. I stretched out the hoe to grease it, and shut the tractor off. Hour later, started it back up and noticed
when folding the hoe up, the boom raised only 3/4 the way up, the bucket and crowd only folding in 1/2 way. Then the
bucket was slow and got slower the more I tried to use it, then the steering went!........now NOTHING works on the
backhoe or loader....Tractor still moves
It has been working great AFTER the son and I changed all the fluids and R&R power steering and crowd cylinder.
Coupler is still spinning at the crank pulley, but cannot see if the pump end is turning the pump shaft w/o taking
the rad off to expose the whole shaft
Also with the parts book and manual, it looks like there is a filter that's accessible under the D stroke housing.
Can It just be pulled out and cleaned?
I have no gauges, so I guess I'm looking for the, best logical approach to a fix
