Forum,
On Monday afternoon I had to move my HD3 closer to my cabin. When trying to turn it around I lost the right track off the idler. Tried for hours to replace the track before night fall and did not succeed. Next morning called the brother in law and asked him for help to move the crawler off my driveway. Did not the expect the next miracle to happen. When pulling the HD3 backward with the '41 Cat the track rolled on as fast as it rolled off. Called a friend and he said the track is not tight enough. Question is, how tight should the track be? I will have to shim it because the tensioner is frozen. Any and all thoughts are welcome.
