My old New Holland LS555 skid steer developed a leak in one of the hydraulic hoses underneath the pedals. Alas, it is really hard to get to one end of the hose to remove it. Otherwise, I'd just take it to a local shop and have a new hose made.
So, I'm looking into installing a repair kit- field installable hose end fittings and a barrel.
It is gates 8C1T hose SAE 100R1AT
Any suggestions for a source for fitting that will work and not leak?
Also, my neighbor has a Weatherhead hydraulic crimper, so if I buy the right fittings maybe I could use his tool.
