Ware loader oil

I have a 1953 oc3 with a Ware loader. What kind of oil do I put in this Ware loader. I'm thinking regular engine oil, but not sure. Thanks

Which oil are you asking about? The engine, trans/ final drive, or the loader hydraulics?
Engine calls for 30 weight, but if it is tired I would use 40, depending on the climate wherever you live.
The trans, drives, etc call for 90 weight mineral oil (not gear oil) or 50 weight non-detergent motor oil.
The Ware loader itself, my early one is using TRACtor Suplys ISO 46 hydraulic oil

Loader hyds take simple UTF or Hyd oil. Not engine oil since engine oil is likely to foam up and cause bad problems

Obsoelitist, do you have a OC3 or HG with Ware loader? I dragged a HG with Ware loader home last weekend it just needs a radiator and spark. I have never worked on a mag before hoping to get an idea were to start. Greg

Yes some do and many called for a non-detergent type oil because the detergent type foams learned that the hard way by the way so I'll stick to the hyd oil or UTF. Shoot some systems call for ATF for that matter
