955k Transmission problem

My 955k had a problem one time a while back(it stopped moving),where transmission oil fluid migrated into the rear section=the steering clutches compartment.I posted on here and was told to clean the screen-that it would be covered with brake lining material.I cleaned the screen and drained the rear section and put the oil back into the front section, and all was fine.It happened one more time, and I cleaned it again. Now it has a new problem=the oil has went to the forward section-I guess this is the converter section? So-new question-what happened this time, where do I drain it,how do I fix it,does the belly pan need to come off,how big/bad of a job? I am trying to sell it since I don't need it any more and was using it for the first time in several years to make sure it is good to go,and now I find a problem-oh well,no one was calling anyway!Any help will be appreciated, thanks,Mark

If I remember right there are two places were it could transfer oil. One place is by the steering clutch and trans mission pump area. These are bolted together but there is a seal between them that keeps the oil separate. If this does not fix the problem the other spot is harder to do this were there is a seal between the trans and steering clutch area on the pinion shaft that can go out and leak this means removing the trans, a bear of a job.

I just want to sell this thing and this problem, oh well.So is there a way of telling which seal failed? Is there a a manual available? Does this work have to be done from underneath?Where does the oil drain from front section/converter? Thanks,Mark.

There is no easy way to tell, but the pumps are easy to get to. If I remember right the are just under the floor on the left side. You have to remove the floor board on that side and possibly the side fender. But it is gotten from above. I cannot remember which pump has the seal in though. If you have a parts book it should show it. If this is the problem it will not cost much but time. The transmission pinion shaft one is very time consuming for the unit has to come out the bottom. Almost more then what the machine is worth.
