Recently was given a JD 30 chainsaw in non working condition. Saw was in very good condition but just did not run. Replaced inner parts of carb and it now runs great. Question is why it has such a short run time between gas fill ups- 5 minutes maybe! Thought there may be a part missing in the tank, like a pick up line with filter. Other than that my compliments to JD for having the saw made in Japan in the 80's. It is as solid as my 460 Husky.
