OC-3/HG Crawler Value

Just brought home a T-340 IH loader so the other mini dozer (OC-3/HG) I had is going up for sale - looking for advice on a reasonable price for it and any suggestions on any Oliver/Cletrac specialty boards that might be good to advertise it on.

I was never able to find a sn to verify the year or exact model, but the consensus when I asked here is that it's a OC-3/HG machine.

The engine has been replaced with a Willy's Jeep flathead 4. The tractor runs and drives well, with all gears working. Blade hydraulics work but are weak - I suspect the pump needs work although when I pulled the cover off there was no obvious significant wear. There is also a slow coolant leak apparently from pinholes in the radiator core. It's not enough to cause problem running it, at least not for the 1-2hrs I have, but it will drain down over a couple days and need to be filled before using it.

UC looks in decent shape to me, though I have little experience - please take a look at the pics below and let me know what ya'll think.

I've looked around for similar tractors to price, but it's hard to really get a good feel with the variation in tractors and regions. This one looks in decent shape and runs/works, but I don't think it's really a restoration tractor with the engine swap and such. Also hard to say what the engine swap does - on one hand it seems like it would be a much easier engine to find parts for and has more power, but on the other hand it's not original.

Thanks,
~John

not real sure with the incorrect engine in there,I personally would subtract a good bit from value if I was going to buy it because of that.plus the pump problem,$ 800?

To me it looks like an OC-3-42 not an HG. The HG came out before the OC-3 and is the forerunner of the OC-3. I have an HG right now with a Oliver 60 engine in it but did have an OC-3 years ago with a loader on it. I sold the OC-3 for $2500 but it ran pretty good and all

Thanks. Numbers sound about where I figured, would like to get more than $800 for sure, but we'll see. May try to fix the hydraulic pump.

I found the T-340 off craigslist. Actually found the OC-3 on there too, and will probably list it on there as well. The IH is a nifty beast - Drott loader with a 4 in 1

Any thoughts on what kind of shape the undercarriage is in on the HG?

Wound up getting $1500 for it, but I think that's more a lucky right place right guy right time than a real statement of the value - guy wanted a little tractor like this to putter around with and payed full asking price no questions asked... didn't even want to see it run. :D

Did have someone else offer $1100 sight unseen, and I didn't have it posted for long. I expect I would have wound up getting $12-1300 without too much trouble has this guy not bought it.

Got back what I spent on the IH tractor, so that makes me happy - swapped the small tractor that wasn't much good for dirt work for the bigger one with a loader - good day. :D
