JCB backhoe electrical problem

I know this is a longshot, but here goes… My father has a 1989 JCB 1400 backhoe. He's had it for a couple of months, worked very well until a couple of days ago. He's having trouble with it blowing a fuse whenever he turns the ignition. According to the label on the cover over the fuse box, it's a 5 amp fuse labeled "Engine Stop." Does anybody happen to know where the Engine Stop is located, where the wire from this fuse goes? Not having any luck finding a wiring diagram for this tractor. Would greatly appreciate any advice.

If it has a diesel engine in it, it should go to the fuel shutoff solenoid. That would be located near or on the injection pump. They sometimes fail.

The machine has a Perkins engine with a CAV rotary injection pump which has an electric run/stop solenoid, first thing to do is find the solenoid on the injector pump, remove the wire from the solenoid, switch on and see if it blows the fuse,if no replace the solenoid,if yes the fault is else where, trace the wire back as far as you can to see its not chaffed and making ground,if the machine has a cigar lighter have a look in it as it is often on the same fuse.
