I have recently acquired two tractomotive military dozer blades. I have no idea how to find out what they go on. There is a tag telling serial number and stuff but can't figure out what they are to. Any help would be much appreciated.

The tag on the one blade is as follows
Bulldozer, tractor mounting,
T8e4 for tractor cargo m8e2
Ordnance corps U.S army
M'f'd-tractomotive corporation
Contract number-da-20-089-ord-4408
Mfrg serial number 280
Delivery date 11-52

Page 95 of Norm Swinford's book- AC construction & industrial machinery, has a nice little history of Tractomotive, and a picture of a T8 dozer on a T42 cargo carrier. The picture caption states in part- the first Tractomotive products were dozer blades for military vehicles, for the Detroit Tank Arsenal.
Vander Dobeus left AC to start Tractomotive. He shortly joined forces with AC to provide attachments for AC crawler tractors. Then in 1959 AC acquired Tractomotive.
