DOZER WON'T START AFTER STALL

I have a Komatsu 21p-6 dozer that after it stalled under load won't turn over with the starter. I have cleaned all of the connections and checked the charge in the batteries [new] and still I only get a click when trying to start it. I believe the starter may have died but before I remove it [a difficult job] I want to be sure that I did not overlook something. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have a way to rotate the engine with a pry bar or other means? It would be good to make sure that nothing happened to lock up the engine when it stalled.

do you have a backhoe on it that is removed ? hoses on rear might have come uncoupled . have a case 450 and have had the hoses come apart and it will kill it dead

It has not had a backhoe or other attachment . Your suggestion does make me wonder if something did lock the hydraulics. I am trying to see if there is some way to turn the engine as it was suggested earlier. Thanks to all who offered help!

You are going to have to drop the belly pan to access the starter, when the pan is out of the way you should be able to get a socket on the front pulley nut to check if you can turn the engine,it a right pain to remove that starter, that machine should have a neutral start switch but if the starter solenoid is clicking that rules it out as well as the starting circuit, see what you find when you drop the pan.
Good luck
