HD 9 keep sell or recycle

My brother has my dad’s old HD 9 dozer in a barn that needs to be torn down. We started to work on it to get it running, but it is more work than he wants to put into it. It needs injector work, a new hydraulic line, radiator repair, new oil, and filters. He wants to scrap it. It is a bit of a pet and I would hate to see it go. Now we need to decide to keep, sell, or scrap it. Does it have much value to sell it or should it be scrapped.

If the undercarriage is reasonably good and the running gear is OK it's worth fixing. The detroit diesel is the most cost efficient engine to find parts for such as new or used
injectors.
