jd 410 backhoe - no reverse or forward

just quite. no forward or reverse. am going to check relive valve pressure, clutch control pressure. drain oil, replace, and
change filters and screens. is next step to overhaul reverser spool valve or clean transmission filter. anyone have experience
with diagnosis and fix. dealer serv mgr says too old for him.

try filters 1st, friend had same prob and he went 2 filters 1st and it worked.

changed hydraulic and transmission filters. no difference

I had that happen suddenly. Was a pin that had fallen out of the shuttle linkage where it goes across the front of the transmission case. Was hard to see because of all the crud underneath. Verify the linkage is intact form the handle all the way to the valve.
