Wayne my Hitachi 200ex is giving me fits. Late last fall the cable from the throttle actuator to the fuel pump seized
up with rust and blowed the fuse for the actuator. I removed the cable, lubed/free'd it up, replaced the fuse, made sure that I had high idle, low idle, the two intermediate speeds, and
the machine has mostly sat until now. Yesterday i got the KW, and lowboy stuck so I went after the hoe to push it
out. I noticed while walking it up the road that the engine pulled down to a low speed(from wot)just from tramming in
med speed and would not recover until i let off the pedals. Once i got to the truck and trailer it did the same thing
when trying to push it out. I managed to get it out, but it pulled the engine down just like when I was tramming it.
The engine never smoked one time during all this, not even a wisp! That lead's me to believe that I don't have a air
or fuel restriction problem. Im thinking that there is a problem with the ELLE(or whatever they call the load sensing
computer). I have had the machine against the relief many times, and it has never pulled the engine down! Im leaning
toward the computer for two reasons. One, what little bit the machine has been ran since the throttle cable incident
Dad said that something wasnt right, but never really explained. I was busy with the farm, and we didnt have any work
for the machine so we kinda forgot about it. Two, like I said before the engine never offered to smoke, just pulled
the rpm's down. I seem to have lost your email, but mine is [email protected] If you have any ideas, or
have dealt with this before and know how to trouble shoot it, I sure would appreciate it!
