anybody know anything about 675d ford backhoe

bought a 675d ford back hoe, sat all winter and now it will not move. Found rear dipstick in floor was below add poured in fluid to the full mark, raised rear wheels off the ground left rear will turn backwards but still will not tram on the ground. anybody have any suggestions.

A few of them passed through my place for repairs over the years,as I remember the power train was torque, electric shift power shuttle coupled to a four speed transmission,if it was driving ok before parking and you topped up the oil,the things I would check make sure the transmission is in gear, any clutch cutout button/pedal is not stuck, did it have a backup beeper does it work now,it could be that the electric shift has an issue or the charge pump has lost its prime, have a look at them few items and see how it goes.

Thanks a lot this gives me a little more to look for than I already have. checked for corroded connections this afternoon everything looked ok so far. I did get the left rear wheel to turn backwards after we topped off the fluid. with wheels off the ground. I sat it back down on rear wheels and it jumped a little in forward gear. one time. I think something is stuck or lost prime like you said. just what and where. going to run it tomorrow for a long while and get it up to operating temp. and just maybe whatever it is will free up or start circulating, Thanks so much for the information.

To stop reposting what I post clear the text area before you start typing, Don't worry about the brakes, they will probably free out after it travels a few yards,be careful while you are checking this type problem because there is probably very little wrong and it may jump into drive and you could be badly hurt or worse, keep the wheels off the ground,I asked about the beeper because it is an indicator that the F/R control is working, get a second person in the seat, find the two solenoids on top of the shuttle that controls forward and reverse, key on put your fingertips on each solenoid in turn, have the other person move the lever from F to R you should feel the solenoid jump as the plungers move,if you can't fee anything the F/R control switch could have an issue or one of the clutch cutout buttons or pedal is stuck keeping the switch open,I think there is a button on the loader lever and more than likely there is one on the floor for foot use,see those switches are returning and if you doubt them test them for continuity,if one of those switches stays open there will be no drive in either direction.so try again and see.
