Injection Pump ID

Hi, I am looking for the correct part number for my injection pump. There are a few numbers on it, but none say what they are.

The numbers I see:
339/0/R9 2
7537

Does anyone know how to tell if the pump is bad or how to set the governor in it?

Take a different approach before you buy any more parts that you may not need, service the fuel system starting at the fuel tank cap [vent]then the outlet from the tank any sediment bowl and gauze filter it may have, check the line through to the feed pump for leaks, kinks or joints that could be drawing air, remove the fuel filter/s,clean the cannisters, fit the new filters, bleed the system till the fuel is bubble free, check the injector pump oil,if its watery drain it and refill it with the oil that goes in the engine, start the engine and leave it run for a while 1/2 throttle, those engines spluttered and missed when cold and that is the way they were so let it warm up and see how it runs and idles then.

on the silver tag under govermor rod will have the model # and serial # of the pump.
you need a manual for any adjustments.
does the tractor run or what is it doing?

The dozer fires up and runs okay. It just has a bad lope at idle. When I drive it and get it under load it seems to run fine (smooths out), but when I stop, it starts loping again. I tired replacing an injector because when I fired it up I felt the exhaust ports and that one stayed cold. I thought I found the problem. But after I changed it it still has the same problem. Do I need to bleed that injector somehow? I attached pics. Does anyone know what pump that is?

That sounds like a reasonable approach. I haven't check to make sure the system is all clean and air free. I haven't checked or changed any of the filters, sounds like I should
start there. How do you bleed the system?

Do you know the set up procedure for those governors?

Thanks,
Peter

Yes you need none contaminated fuel and a clean system, that applies if the machine was brand new,I can't remember what pump is on there as the UK built machines used Simms, regardless of make see there is oil in it,other than that hold on it till you replace the filters and are confident the the fuel supply is adequate and then go from there, most of the oldies used the same lever for the throttle and stop, the lever was put one way for full throttle and the other for stop, usually on a rack with teeth that the lever has to be pushed away from it to go into the stop position, the high idle adjusting screw would be set and sealed by the fuel injection man when the pump was on the test rig,if you have a tachometer you can check the high idle RPM,by the rule of thumb 650 RPM for low idle.
